Who We Are
Núvols — meaning "Clouds" in Valencian — is a sole entrepreneurship based in the Valencia Province, Spain. Our mission is to help e-commerce stores connect to Agentic Commerce, the emerging paradigm where AI agents act on behalf of consumers to discover, evaluate, and purchase products.
We run nuvols.app, a SaaS platform that handles UCP and ACP protocol logic for WooCommerce and PrestaShop stores. Store owners install a lightweight plugin or module that connects their store to nuvols.app — AI shopping agents then communicate with our platform, not the store server directly. This keeps stores fast and protocol compliance always up to date.
What is Agentic Commerce?
Agentic Commerce is the next evolution of e-commerce, where AI agents — acting on behalf of consumers — autonomously browse stores, compare products, negotiate terms, and complete purchases. Instead of humans clicking through websites, AI agents interact with stores programmatically through standardized protocols.
UCP — Universal Commerce Protocol
Developed by Google, UCP currently powers shopping in Google Gemini and Chrome AI Mode. It defines how AI systems discover your store, log in on behalf of customers, read return policies, and place orders — all through standardized endpoints your store exposes.
UCP is an open standard — any AI platform can adopt it, not just Google's own products. Google is expanding merchant access through a waitlist program during 2026.

Developed by OpenAI, ACP is the protocol that powers shopping in ChatGPT. It defines how ChatGPT connects to stores, authenticates on behalf of customers, discovers what a store offers, and completes purchases — all within the ChatGPT chat interface. ACP currently requires Stripe as the payment processor.
ACP is a separate protocol from UCP with its own integration approach. Stores that want to sell through both Google AI and ChatGPT need to support both protocols.
